Behram Irani, CEO of Juneau Exploration India, is a senior energy-industry leader with more than five decades of experience across global upstream operations, petroleum engineering, and technology-driven field optimization. He has held full P&L and capital-budget responsibility for domestic and international businesses, guiding independent E&P companies and technology enterprises through growth, restructuring, and global expansion. 

Mr. Irani began his career in 1975 with Enserch Exploration, Inc., where he spent 25 years and rose to Executive Vice President, overseeing all worldwide onshore and offshore operations. He directed global operating divisions, managed annual capital programs, and led corporate A&D initiatives.

Since 2000, he has served as President, CEO, and Director of The Information Store (iStore), a Houston-based software company specializing in data integration, field analytics, and cloud solutions for the upstream sector. He leads strategy, P&L, product development, and international business, and has guided the creation of QVA™, a proprietary field-analysis methodology, and WellBitz™, one of the industry’s earliest cloud-based data services.

Mr. Irani’s broad leadership background includes board roles across for-profit and nonprofit organizations. A registered Professional Engineer (Texas), he has been an SPE Distinguished Lecturer, taught at the University of Texas at Dallas and Southern Methodist University, and served on advisory boards for ONGC, the University of Oklahoma, financial institutions and nonprofit organizations.

He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Oklahoma, a B.S. in Chemistry/Physics from the University of Mumbai (Bombay), and is a graduate of Harvard Business School’s Program for Management Development. He is also a recipient of the University of Oklahoma Regents Distinguished Alumni Award and remains deeply committed to mentoring and supporting nonprofit organizations in their fundraising and organizational development efforts.
