Jeff Allen boasts 15 years of experience in conventional oil and gas 

exploration, not only drilling his own wells but also raising over $20MM 

for exploration projects throughout the Gulf Coast. 

Recently in 2024, Jeff has partnered with Patrick McCarthy of Magna 

Operating to purchase and operate Natural Gas assets along the Gulf 

Coast. In 2022, Jeff amicably resigned from his position as Director of Business Development at EnergyFunders (EFVIF) after raising $7MM in 6 months.

 From 2020-2021 Jeff helped bring to life a large Gulf Coast exploration project by presenting to, managing, and negotiating potential buyers such as Berkshire Hathaway, Oxy, Apache, PetroHunt, among others. When oil hit $23 in 2016, Jeff started his first exploration company raising $6MM to shoot a proprietary 60 square mile 3D area. Jeff managed the permitting, leasing, and seismic which has resulted in seven profitable wells and counting as of 2022. In 2014 his consulting geoscience work with Alta Mesa alongside Professor Emeritus Dr. Spencer Wood at Boise State University helped name Idaho the 35th producing state in the USA. 

His passion for the industry continues as he served on the Executive Board of The Petroleum Club of Houston for three years resulting in being named the Emerging Leader (2019). Also, Jeff served as the Chairman of SIPES Houston for three years, where he was given the Next Generation Independent Award (2019) and manages the exclusive annual Deal Buyer Event. Jeff has his Bachelor of Science in Geology from The University of Texas San Antonio, is a proud Houston native, and is passionate about the future of oil and gas, especially as a second-generation oil finder. Outside of oil and gas, Jeff has owned and managed a barber shop (2 years) and a gym (9 years), both built from the ground up, voted best in their class, profitable, and sold as of 2021.
