Nikhil read Mathematics at the University of Cambridge and completed his doctorate at Imperial College London which gave rise to patented algorithmic developments in the theory of seismic imaging by waveform inversion.
Whilst working for Chevron located initially in San Ramon, California and subsequently in Houston, Texas he was responsible for leading technology pilots of new seismic imaging algorithms applied to field datasets located in deepwater basins offshore Brazil and Nigeria.
He was appointed CEO of S-Cube in 2019 to accelerate its growth through product development and commercialisation. Under his leadership, the company has struck key partnerships with cloud platforms, energy service companies and operators.
